Maple Split Bench
The inspiration for the design of our ‘split’ bench came from a desire to use our reclaimed timber which usually comes in 120mm planks on average. This handmade Sapele bench was designed by one of our makers Dom and crafted with the help of some of the Co Create volunteers/previous course participants. The purchase of a a piece of our furniture enables the time for us to give to these incredible individuals. It allows for them to come and use our space and develop a sense belonging within the context of local community. It is finished with 2 coats of Osmo Polyx Oil varnish.
